IBM-Approved Chrome Ore Enrichment Plant – Odisha

IBM-Approved Chrome Ore Enrichment Plant – Odisha

Conceptualized and built one of Odisha’s largest chrome ore enrichment facilities, approved by IBM. The project featured eco-conscious innovations for slurry reduction and safe disposal of cancerous waste—balancing industrial output with environmental responsibility.

The plant was conceived as an industrial project that had to satisfy both output and environmental duty. Indian Bureau of Mines approval was a condition of the design, not an afterthought. Wondergenie scoped the process so enrichment capacity in Odisha could sit among the largest in the state while remaining certifiable.

Slurry and residue were treated as a safety problem. The flow was planned to cut slurry load and to dispose of carcinogenic waste in a controlled way, so neighbouring communities and the workforce were not left with an open environmental risk.

The result is a reference point the Group still cites for industrial work: production that can be defended on safety, certification and responsible mining practice.

  • One of Odisha’s largest chrome enrichment plants, IBM-certified
  • Designed eco-friendly slurry disposal to eliminate carcinogenic waste risks
  • Set new benchmarks in sustainable mining and industrial safety
